Step by Step

The teaching, in one lineDon't try to grab everything at once. Go slowly, one step at a time, and keep the longing.

“Sometimes we see so much to do in serving God… and don't know where to start.”

Sit with it

Seeing everything there is to do can freeze you. Do what you can right now.

What you truly cannot do, God does not hold against you. Even the desire is precious, because God wants the heart.

The world chases a closed fist that holds nothing. Chase only what's real.

A broken heart is not sadness. Give it a small time each day, and stay joyful the rest.

Sadness complains. A broken heart cries like a child calling for his father.

Thought is the highest power you have. It reaches further than anything, so guard it.
