The Hidden Desire

The teaching, in one lineWatch the quiet desire. It can take over the heart more than the obvious one.

“You may think you're far from temptation. But are you?”

Sit with it

You may feel far from the big temptations, while a smaller desire quietly takes control.

Stubbornness can make a person give up every good thing for one desire.

The world chases a closed fist that holds nothing. Chase only what's real.

A clear, focused thought, fully pictured and deeply felt, can shape what happens.

Giving a child space is not a lack of love. It is trust that he can grow.

Push yourself to be joyful, especially when you pray. A little holy foolishness can open a heavy heart.
